These genuine Water-ID Copper No. 2 photometer-grade reagent tablets are the auxiliary reagent used alongside Copper No. 1 tablets to measure free copper levels in pool, spa, or pond water. Formulated exclusively for the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer, they deliver precise, repeatable results that strip test kits simply cannot match.

Why Monitor Copper?

Copper-based algaecides and ionisers are widely used in pools, ponds, and koi ponds, but copper levels must be kept within safe limits. Excess copper can stain pool surfaces and fittings, irritate swimmers’ skin and eyes, and — in ponds — prove toxic to fish. Regular photometric testing lets you verify that treatment doses are effective without overshooting safe thresholds, giving you confident, data-backed water management.

Compatibilidade

These tablets are compatible with the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer only. They are not interchangeable with PoolLab 1.0 or any other brand’s photometer. Always use photometer-grade tablets — rapid-grade tablets will produce incorrect readings and must never be used in the PoolLab 2.0.

How to Use

Fill the appropriate cuvette chamber with a 10 ml water sample, select the Copper parameter on the PoolLab 2.0, then add one Copper No. 1 and one Copper No. 2 tablet. Crush each tablet vigorously with the stirring rod and stir until dissolved, then confirm the chamber and press the Test button. Results are displayed on screen and can be automatically synced to the LabCOM® cloud via WiFi for record-keeping. Store tablets in a cool, dry place (15–25 °C) with the blister sealed to preserve accuracy and shelf life.
