This pack of 50 genuine Water-ID powder pillows provides the sea-water conditioning reagent required when testing ammonia (low range, 0–1 mg/l) in saltwater or salt-electrolysis pools using the PoolLab 2.0 photometer. The conditioning pillow is used alongside the Ammonia N°1 and N°2 powder pillows to neutralise the interfering matrix of high-salinity water and ensure accurate photometric readings. Elevated ammonia in pool water is a key indicator of bather load, sanitation failure, or nitrogen-cycle imbalance, and requires prompt corrective action.

Compatibilidade

These powder pillows are designed exclusively for use with the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer and must be used as part of the full ammonia low-range test sequence — together with Ammonia N°1 (PPHAM150) and Ammonia N°2 (PPPAM250) powder pillows. They are not interchangeable with reagents for other photometer brands or models. If residual chlorine is present in the sample, a Dechlor tablet must be added to the sample before testing to prevent interference.

How to use

Add 10 ml of your sea-water or salt-pool sample to the cuvette using the supplied syringe. Follow the PoolLab 2.0 ammonia test sequence: add the conditioning powder pillow first to neutralise salt matrix interference, then add Ammonia N°1 and Ammonia N°2 powder pillows in order, stirring between each addition. Wait for the countdown to complete, then confirm the result on the photometer display. Clean the cuvette thoroughly after each measurement. Store unused powder pillows in a cool, dry place away from heat and humidity.
