The Water-ID Acidifying PT tablets are a photometer-grade auxiliary reagent designed for use with the PoolLab 1.0 photometer. What This Reagent Does

When testing high-range hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) — a popular chlorine-free disinfectant — the Acidifying PT tablet acts as an essential pre-treatment reagent that conditions the water sample to the correct pH, ensuring the subsequent photometric measurement is accurate and reliable. Without it, hydrogen peroxide HR results cannot be correctly obtained. Precise H₂O₂ readings matter because both under- and over-dosing peroxide can compromise water hygiene or cause irritation to bathers.

Compatibilidade

These tablets are formulated exclusively for the Water-ID PoolLab 1.0 photometer. They must always be used in combination with the corresponding Water-ID Hydrogen Peroxide HR reagent tablets — they are not a standalone test. Always use genuine Water-ID reagents to guarantee the photometer’s calibrated measurement curves remain valid and results stay traceable.

Storage & Usage

Each tablet is individually blistered in push-through aluminium foil to protect against moisture and contamination. Drop one tablet into the sample cuvette as directed in the PoolLab 1.0 procedure, dissolve fully, then proceed with the Hydrogen Peroxide HR tablet step. Store the pack in a cool, dry place between 15 °C and 25 °C, away from direct sunlight and humidity, to maintain accuracy and support the full stated shelf life.
