The Acidifying GP Powder Pillows are an essential auxiliary reagent for the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer’s high-range chlorine test. Used alongside Chlorine HR (KI) powder pillows, they enable accurate measurement of chlorine levels from 5 to 200 mg/l (ppm) — far exceeding the ~6 ppm ceiling of standard DPD methods. Each pack contains 50 individually blistered powder pillows, produced and packaged in Germany.

Why High-Range Chlorine Testing Matters

Shock treatments, superchlorination, and commercial pool environments can push free chlorine concentrations well above normal operating levels. Being able to measure accurately up to 200 mg/l gives pool technicians and owners the data they need to confirm disinfection efficacy, avoid over-dosing, and determine when it is safe to reopen a pool after treatment. Without a high-range reagent, standard tests simply return an out-of-range error.

Compatibilidade

These powder pillows are designed exclusively for use with the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer. Always use photometer-grade reagents; rapid-grade alternatives will produce incorrect results.
