This genuine Bosta high pressure protection switch monitors refrigerant discharge pressure in pool heat pumps, cutting out at 2.9 MPa and automatically resetting at 2.3 MPa. It safeguards the compressor against dangerous over-pressure conditions, preventing costly damage to the refrigeration circuit. The green colour-coding allows for quick visual identification during servicing and installation.

Function & Protection

Installed on the high-pressure side of the refrigerant circuit, this switch interrupts the compressor circuit the moment discharge pressure reaches the 2.9 MPa cut-out threshold. Once pressure drops back to the 2.3 MPa reset point, normal operation can resume. This automatic protection helps prevent compressor burnout caused by refrigerant overcharge, blocked condenser airflow, or high ambient temperatures.
