Fluidra – Sand Filter Diffuser Assembly Ø900 mm

This is the genuine Fluidra replacement diffuser assembly designed for the Ø900 mm laminated sand filter rated at 30,000 l/h with a 2½” connection. Fitted at the top of the filter tank, it distributes incoming water evenly across the entire sand bed to ensure consistent, efficient filtration. Replacing a worn or cracked diffuser restores proper flow distribution and protects filtration performance.

Compatibilidade

This diffuser assembly is a direct OEM replacement for the Fluidra Ø900 mm sand filter (30,000 l/h, 2½” outlet, without valve — corresponding to Fluidra filter reference 00544). It is engineered to the exact dimensions of the original part and is not interchangeable with smaller-diameter filter models in the Fluidra range (Ø500–Ø750 mm), which use different diffuser assemblies.

Genuine Fluidra parts are manufactured from highly resistant PVC and polypropylene (PP) to withstand continuous pool water exposure, pressure, and repeated backwash cycles. An aftermarket diffuser that does not match the internal geometry of the Ø900 mm tank can cause channelling through the sand bed, reducing water clarity and increasing pump strain. Using an original Fluidra part ensures the fit, material grade, and performance that the filter was designed for.

Instalação

The diffuser assembly is accessed by opening the filter lid. Before installation, ensure the filter is depressurised and isolated from the pump. Seat the diffuser centrally on its inlet pipe, verify it is correctly positioned, and check it is secure before refilling with filter media and closing the lid. Professional installation is recommended for commercial installations or if the filter has not been serviced before.
