AstralPool – Water Drain Purge Valve for Viena Filter (SLX1050-20M)

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement water drain (purge) valve for the Viena sand filter, model SLX1050-20M. Fitted at position 6 in the official Fluidra exploded view, it is the manual valve used to fully empty the filter tank — essential when changing filter sand, performing maintenance, or replacing internal components.

O que faz

The water drain purge valve allows you to safely release all water from the filter body without disassembling any major components. This makes routine tasks such as media replacement, winter shutdown, and internal part servicing far quicker and cleaner. A functioning purge valve is critical to keeping your filtration system safe and serviceable.

Compatibilidade

This part is designed and specified exclusively for the AstralPool Viena Filter (parent model SLX1050-20M). Always verify your filter model against this reference before ordering, as water purge valves vary between AstralPool filter ranges and are not interchangeable across models.

Por que a autenticidade é importante

Using an original AstralPool part ensures a precise fit, correct thread specification, and proper sealing against the filter body. Aftermarket substitutes may not match the thread pitch or material specification, risking leaks under working pressure. Genuine parts also keep your filter within the manufacturer’s warranty and safety approvals.
