AstralPool – Motor Clamp Gasket for Glass Plus SS 1.5HP Pump

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement motor clamp gasket for the Glass Plus SS 1.5HP pump (model 15244). It provides the critical seal at the clamped joint between the pump body and the motor housing, preventing water ingress and pressure loss at that connection. Sourced directly from Fluidra, this is an OEM part manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original assembly.

Compatibilidade

This gasket is designed specifically for the AstralPool Glass Plus SS 1.5HP pump, parent model 15244. It corresponds to position 18 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for this pump. Always verify your pump’s model number before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

Porque o Genuíno Importa

An aftermarket clamp gasket that is even fractionally off in profile or hardness can allow water to bypass the seal, leading to leaks, loss of prime, and accelerated wear on surrounding components. Using a genuine AstralPool part guarantees the correct material specification, compression profile, and durability — protecting both the pump and your pool installation.

Instalação

Replacement involves releasing the motor clamp, removing the worn gasket, cleaning the seating surfaces, and fitting the new gasket before reassembling the clamp to the correct torque. While straightforward for an experienced technician, professional installation is recommended to ensure the clamp is refitted safely and the pump is pressure-tested afterwards.
