This is a genuine AstralPool replacement manifold collector arm, 225 mm in length, supplied as a pack of 4 units. It is an internal filter component — a slotted lateral arm that threads onto the central manifold head inside the filter tank, distributing and collecting water evenly through the sand bed during both filtration and backwash cycles.

Como funciona

During filtration, the collector arms gather cleaned water at the base of the sand bed and channel it back towards the pool. During backwash, pressurised water flows back through these slotted arms, lifting and fluidising the sand so trapped debris is flushed out to waste. A worn or cracked arm compromises both filtration efficiency and backwash effectiveness.
