AstralPool – Diffuser O-Ring for Alaska Basic Pump

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement diffuser O-ring for the Alaska Basic pool pump (parent SKU 69386). It forms the critical hydraulic seal between the diffuser and the pump body, preventing internal water bypass that would reduce flow and pressure. Identified as position 9 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram, it is the exact part used in original manufacture.

Compatibilidade

This O-ring is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Alaska Basic pump (reference 69386). Before ordering, verify your pump’s model reference on the motor label or the original documentation to ensure a correct fit — do not assume cross-compatibility with other Alaska variants such as the Alaska Plus or Alaska Max, as diffuser seals may differ between models.

Porque o Genuíno Importa

A worn or incorrectly sized diffuser O-ring causes internal recirculation inside the pump, leading to reduced flow rate, loss of prime, and accelerated wear on the impeller and mechanical seal. Using a genuine AstralPool part guarantees the correct material compound and precise dimensions, ensuring a proper seal and restoring the pump to full hydraulic efficiency.

Instalação

Replacing the diffuser O-ring requires draining the pump, removing the pump body cover, extracting the impeller and diffuser assembly, and swapping the O-ring in position 9 as shown in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram. Basic hand tools are sufficient, but familiarity with pool pump internals is recommended. Always switch off and isolate the pump electrically before beginning any work.
