Flotide/MEGA – PP Bolt Saddle Clamp 50 mm × ½” Female Thread 16 bar (Pack of 3)

This polypropylene bolt saddle clamp allows you to create a secure, leak-free branch outlet on an existing 50 mm pipe without cutting into or replacing the main line. It features a ½” BSP female thread outlet rated to 16 bar, and is supplied as a convenient pack of three. Ideal for pool plant rooms, irrigation circuits, and water distribution systems.

Compatibilidade

Designed to fit 50 mm outside-diameter pipes in polyethylene (PE), PVC, and polypropylene (PP). The ½” female thread outlet accepts standard BSP male fittings, making it straightforward to connect valves, sensors, pressure gauges, or bypass lines in a typical pool or water-treatment installation.

Materials & Pressure Rating

The saddle body is moulded from high-grade polypropylene, which is highly resistant to chlorine, chemicals, and corrosion — well suited to pool environments. An NBR rubber gasket seated between the saddle and the pipe wall ensures a pressure-tight seal, while the steel bolts clamp the assembly firmly in place. The fitting is rated to a maximum working pressure of 16 bar.

Instalação

No specialist tooling or welding is required. The saddle is positioned over the pipe, the NBR gasket is seated, and the steel bolts are tightened evenly to achieve a secure fit. Once clamped, the pipe is drilled through the threaded outlet to open the branch. Periodic retightening of the bolts and inspection of the gasket is recommended to maintain a lasting seal.
