The Hidrolife NG Salt Chlorinator – SAL22NG – 22 gr/h is a next-generation (NG) salt chlorinator for private residential pools. It automatically produces chlorine at 22 gr/h by passing a low-voltage electrical current through salt dissolved in the pool water — a process called electrolysis. The result is a continuous supply of active, natural chlorine that keeps the water hygienically clean without the need for manual dosing or handling of chlorine products.

The NG platform includes a built-in communication bus that allows connection of optional modules for pH control, redox (ORP) measurement, temperature monitoring, WiFi and more — turning a standalone chlorinator into a fully integrated pool management system.

How It Works

Pool water containing dissolved salt (typically 3–5 g/l) flows through the electrolytic cell. The cell converts salt into hypochlorous acid (free chlorine), which disinfects the water. After doing its job, the chlorine reverts to salt — creating a continuous, self-renewing cycle.

Sizing & Compatibility

This model produces 22 gr/h of active chlorine, making it suitable for pools of the corresponding volume based on typical bather load and temperature conditions. Always size the chlorinator to 20–30% above the calculated requirement for headroom during peak summer use.
