This is the genuine OEM Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) for the AquaForte Mr. Silence 15kW pool heat pump (model SC954), corresponding to position 17 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram. The EEV is a critical component in the refrigerant circuit, using a stepper-motor-driven needle to precisely regulate the flow of refrigerant between the condenser and evaporator in response to signals from the heat pump’s electronic controller. Replacing a faulty valve with this genuine part restores the precise refrigerant management that the SC954’s Full Inverter system depends on for efficiency and quiet operation.

The electronic expansion valve controls refrigerant flow by electronically opening and closing a needle valve in response to sensor inputs and controller commands. It allows the refrigerant to expand from high condenser pressure to lower evaporator pressure, enabling efficient heat transfer. Because the SC954 uses a Full Inverter DC compressor that continuously varies its output, accurate EEV control is essential to maintain the pump’s high COP and protect the compressor from flooding or overheating.

This valve is designed exclusively for the AquaForte Mr. Silence 15kW heat pump, model SC954, which is suited to pools of approximately 40–70 m³. The SC954 operates on R32 refrigerant gas and features a Mitsubishi Full Inverter compressor. Always verify your heat pump’s model number and the exploded-view position (position 17) before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

The Mr. Silence SC954 is engineered for ultra-quiet, high-efficiency performance with a COP reaching up to 16. Using a genuine AquaForte/Fluidra replacement valve ensures the part is matched to the refrigerant circuit tolerances and controller calibration of the SC954, preserving energy efficiency, protecting the compressor warranty, and ensuring reliable operation down to -10 °C.
