As an original Fluidra/AstralPool component, this cover and gasket are manufactured to exact dimensional tolerances, ensuring a leak-free seal against the pre-filter body. Aftermarket alternatives may differ in thread pitch or gasket compound, risking air leaks, reduced suction, and premature pump wear. Fitting a genuine part protects your warranty and keeps the pump running at rated efficiency.

The cover is designed for straightforward hand-tightening — no specialist tools are required to open or close the pre-filter housing. Always isolate the pump from power and relieve system pressure before removing the old cover. Inspect and clean the seating surface, fit the new cover with its gasket in place, and tighten firmly by hand until the seal is snug. Restart the pump and check for leaks before returning the system to normal operation.
