This genuine AstralPool motor clamp bracket (IEC frame size 80) is the structural interface component that securely couples the electric motor to the pump body on the AstralPool Glass Plus SS pool pump. Positioned as item 22 in the official Fluidra exploded view, it ensures precise motor-to-pump alignment and a rigid, vibration-resistant connection essential for reliable pump operation.

Designed specifically for the AstralPool Glass Plus SS pump range covering motor outputs of 1.5 HP, 2 HP, and 3 HP (IEC frame 80). The primary parent model is the Glass Plus SS 1.5 HP II (SKU 15244), and it is also confirmed to fit across the wider Glass Plus and Colombia motor-varnish pump families. Always cross-reference your pump model number and exploded view position 22 before ordering.

As an OEM Fluidra/AstralPool part, this bracket is manufactured to exact IEC 80 frame tolerances, guaranteeing correct shaft alignment between motor and impeller. An ill-fitting aftermarket bracket can cause bearing wear, vibration, seal failure, and premature motor burnout — making the genuine part a sound long-term investment.

Replacement of the motor clamp bracket requires separating the motor from the pump body. Power to the pump must be fully isolated before any work begins. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded view (position 22) for torque specifications and reassembly sequence. Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended.
