This is the genuine AstralPool replacement impeller for the Glass Plus SS 2HP II pool pump, rated at 2 HP and engineered for single-phase 50 Hz electrical supply. The impeller is the rotating component at the heart of the pump that drives water circulation, and replacing a worn or damaged impeller restores full hydraulic performance to your pool system.

This impeller is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Glass Plus SS 2HP II pump (parent SKU 15246). It corresponds to position 16 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram for that pump assembly. Always cross-reference your pump’s model number and SKU before ordering to ensure a correct fit — this part is not interchangeable with other horsepower ratings or pump series.

As an OEM AstralPool spare part sourced directly through Fluidra, this impeller is manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original, ensuring proper hydraulic balance, correct shaft fit, and reliable sealing against the diffuser. Aftermarket impellers can cause vibration, reduced flow, premature seal wear, and may void any remaining pump warranty — a genuine part eliminates all of those risks.

Fitting this impeller requires disassembly of the pump wet end, including removal of the pump body and diffuser to access the impeller on the motor shaft. The task is straightforward for a qualified pool technician or a confident DIYer with basic tools, but professional installation is recommended to ensure correct torque on the impeller and to inspect the mechanical seal and O-rings at the same time.
