This is the genuine AstralPool replacement bushing for the lower casing of the Robot Galeon FL robotic pool cleaner (parent SKU 63171). The bushing acts as a precision sleeve within the lower casing assembly, reducing friction and wear between moving components to keep the robot’s drive mechanism operating smoothly. It corresponds to position 310 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram.

This bushing is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Robot Galeon FL (model 63171), an automatic robotic pool cleaner that operates on 24 VDC and cleans pool floors autonomously without hoses or pressure connections. Always verify your robot’s model number before ordering, as this part is not shared across other Galeon variants such as the Galeon MD or Galeon RC.

Using an authentic AstralPool part ensures the bushing meets the original dimensional and material tolerances specified by Fluidra’s engineers. An ill-fitting or substandard bushing in the lower casing can accelerate wear on surrounding components, lead to drive inefficiency, or cause premature robot failure — making genuine parts the only reliable choice for a long service life.

Fitting this bushing requires partial disassembly of the robot’s lower casing. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded view diagram (position 310) for the correct orientation and assembly sequence. This repair is best carried out by a qualified pool technician to ensure the casing is correctly sealed and reassembled.
