This is the genuine Hydro-Pro replacement titanium heat exchanger designed specifically for the Hydro-Pro Inverter Type Z29/32 swimming pool heat pump. As the core component responsible for transferring heat from the refrigerant circuit into your pool water, it must meet exact OEM tolerances to ensure safe and efficient operation. Replacing a worn or damaged heat exchanger with a genuine part restores your heat pump to full performance.

This heat exchanger is engineered exclusively for the Hydro-Pro Inverter Type Z29/32 heat pump (single-phase, 220–240 V / 50 Hz, R32 refrigerant), a model rated up to 30 kW heating capacity at A28/W28 conditions and suited to pool volumes of 100–175 m³. It is not interchangeable with other models in the Z-series range without verifying fitment — always cross-check your heat pump’s model and part number before ordering.

The Hydro-Pro Z29/32 uses a twist-titanium tube in a PVC shell — a construction that resists chlorine, bromine, salt water, and other pool chemicals that would quickly corrode standard copper or steel alternatives. A genuine OEM part guarantees the correct tube geometry, pressure rating, and water connection size (50 mm), protecting the refrigerant circuit and maintaining the heat pump’s high COP rating. Using non-OEM parts can void your warranty and risk serious damage to the unit.

Heat exchanger replacement requires draining the water circuit, recovering the refrigerant, and safely disconnecting refrigerant-side pipework — work that must be carried out by a qualified refrigeration engineer. Ensure the pool pump is off and all system pressure is relieved before beginning. Chemical dosing should always take place downstream of the heat pump to prevent concentrated chemicals from contacting the new heat exchanger.
