This is the genuine OEM replacement titanium heat exchanger designed specifically for the Flotide/MEGA Hydro-S Inverter 9 heat pump (type XP09CSIE). It is the core thermal transfer component inside the unit, responsible for transferring heat from the refrigerant circuit into the pool water. Replacing a worn or damaged heat exchanger with a genuine Flotide/MEGA part restores full heating performance and protects the rest of the system.

This heat exchanger is a direct-fit replacement for the Flotide/MEGA Hydro-S Inverter 9 heat pump, type reference XP09CSIE. It is engineered to the exact dimensions and flow specifications of the original unit and is not a universal part — always verify your heat pump’s model reference before ordering.

Titanium is the material of choice for pool heat exchangers because it is highly resistant to chlorine, salt water, and other pool chemicals that rapidly corrode copper alternatives. A genuine Flotide/MEGA titanium exchanger ensures the same corrosion resistance, wall thickness, and thermal efficiency as the factory-fitted component, maintaining the heat pump’s rated COP and long service life.

Replacement of the heat exchanger requires draining the water circuit, recovering the refrigerant charge, and re-pressurising the system after fitting. This work must be carried out by a qualified pool technician or F-gas certified engineer. Always consult the Flotide/MEGA Hydro-S Inverter service manual and ensure all connections are leak-tested before returning the unit to service.
