This is the genuine Zodiac outer body shell (coque) for the CN-series XA iQ robotic pool cleaners, finished in dark blue. The shell forms the structural outer casing of the robot, enclosing and protecting the internal drive motors, suction motor, filter basket assembly and electronics from pool water, UV exposure and mechanical impact during every cleaning cycle.

The body shell is the primary load-bearing enclosure of the robot. It maintains the precise geometry that allows the drive tracks, brushes and impeller to operate in correct alignment. Any crack, warp or fracture in the shell compromises the watertight integrity of the unit and can allow pool water to ingress into the motor block and control electronics, leading to irreversible damage.

This shell is designed specifically for the Zodiac XA iQ CN-series robots: XA 4010 iQ, XA 4030 iQ, XA 4045 iQ and XA 4095 iQ. These models share a common platform featuring three motors (two DC traction motors and one cyclonic suction motor), top-access filter, and iAquaLink app connectivity. Always verify your robot’s model reference before ordering, as shells from adjacent XA iQ sub-series are not interchangeable.

Replace this shell if you observe visible cracking or splitting of the outer casing, deformation that causes the tracks or brushes to bind, or any impact damage sustained when the robot strikes steps or pool edges. A damaged shell can also cause the robot to list to one side in the water, reducing cleaning coverage on walls and the waterline.

Genuine Zodiac parts are manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original assembly. An aftermarket shell that does not match the OEM profile will misalign the track-drive system, stress the motor mounts and void any remaining warranty. Using a genuine replacement ensures the robot’s patented cyclonic suction geometry and Lift System functionality are fully preserved after the repair.
