This is a genuine Maytronics set of four ultrafine filter panels (part 9991422-ASSY) designed for Dolphin cartridge-basket filter systems. The ultrafine mesh intercepts fine particulate matter — including dust, algae spores and fine silt — that a standard net or coarse filter would pass straight through, delivering noticeably clearer water after each cleaning cycle.

Each panel slots into the Dolphin cartridge basket frame, where the tightly woven ultrafine mesh traps sub-fine debris that a coarse filter misses entirely. The highly efficient, clog-resistant mesh keeps pool water free of fine dust and dirt particles, maintaining crystal-clear water without overloading the robot’s suction circuit.

This four-pack is confirmed compatible with the Dolphin M200, DX3, DX5, Swash, Swash CL, Swell, Swift, X Force 10, X Force 20, X Force 30, Cosmos 20, Cosmos 30, Pool In and Pool Up robotic pool cleaners. Always cross-reference your robot’s model number before ordering to ensure the small-panel format is correct for your machine.

Panels should be replaced when the mesh is visibly torn, deformed, or permanently clogged — indicated by reduced suction, cloudy water after a full cleaning cycle, or debris passing through the filter basket into the pool. Regular rinsing after each use extends service life considerably, but ultrafine mesh is more susceptible to mineral scaling than coarse nets and will degrade faster in hard-water pools.

Aftermarket panels frequently use a looser weave or inferior polymer that either passes fine particles or collapses under the robot’s suction pressure, causing premature motor strain. Genuine Maytronics panels are manufactured to the exact dimensional and mesh-density specification of the original cartridge basket, ensuring a secure clip-fit and consistent filtration performance throughout their service life.
