This is the genuine Davey complete motor assembly (part 403506) for the StarFlo DSF4203FCE three-phase swimming pool pump. It is the heart of the pump unit, driving the impeller to circulate pool water for filtration and sanitisation. Replacement is typically required when the motor has burned out, seizes, or fails to run despite correct electrical supply.

This motor assembly is designed exclusively for the Davey StarFlo DSF4203FCE three-phase pool pump. The CE-suffix variant is the version approved for sale in Europe. It is not interchangeable with single-phase StarFlo models (DSF150CE through DSF420CE) or the DSF3003FCE. Always verify your pump model label before ordering.

Using a genuine Davey replacement motor ensures the correct electrical ratings, shaft dimensions, and mounting geometry for your DSF4203FCE pump. The OEM unit features a 316 stainless-steel motor shaft and Class F insulation, matching the original performance and protection standards. Aftermarket alternatives may compromise reliability, safety compliance, and warranty coverage.

Motor replacement on a three-phase pool pump involves working with a 380–415 V, 50 Hz electrical supply and must be carried out by a qualified electrician or authorised Davey service technician. Ensure the pump is fully isolated from the power supply before starting work. Refer to the official Davey StarFlo Installation and Operating Instructions for torque values and reassembly guidance.
