The Davey Regul’Matic ORP Probe Holder (part 5441REG) is the genuine OEM mounting bracket that secures the ORP (Redox) sensor in the hydraulic circuit of the Davey Regul’Matic salt control system. It positions the probe correctly between the filter and the salt chlorinator cell so that the controller can take accurate, continuous readings of the pool’s active disinfectant level. Replace this holder whenever it is cracked, warped, or no longer forming a watertight seal around the probe body.

This holder is a genuine Davey spare part designed for the Regul’Matic salt chlorination control system. The Regul’Matic range — which uses Redox technology to measure chlorine content and regulate salt chlorinator output — is sold across multiple generations; always cross-reference Davey part number 5441REG against your unit’s documentation or serial label before ordering to confirm fitment with your specific version.

An incorrectly sized or poorly sealed probe holder can cause persistent water ingress, inaccurate ORP readings, and ultimately incorrect chlorinator output — resulting in either under-sanitised or over-chlorinated pool water. Using the genuine Davey 5441REG holder ensures the probe sits at the precise depth and angle the system was calibrated for, maintaining measurement integrity and protecting the controller electronics from water damage.

The probe holder is installed in-line on the return pipe between the filter and the salt chlorinator cell, in a dry and well-ventilated plant room. The system must be fully de-energised and the circuit depressurised before the holder is removed or fitted. It is strongly recommended that installation is carried out by a qualified pool technician, and that the ORP probe is rechecked against the reference solution after any probe or holder replacement.
