Maytronics Dolphin EasyKleen WM foam brush (Wonder Brush)

This is the genuine Maytronics foam brush — known in the trade as the Wonder Brush — designed for Dolphin robotic pool cleaners fitted with a single drive motor and both a front and rear brush position. Foam construction gives the brush a conforming grip on hard, tiled, and smooth-finish pool surfaces where a standard PVC brush would slip. Fit one at the front and one at the rear to restore full traction across the chassis.

What this foam brush does in the Dolphin

The foam brush wraps around the drive roller and makes direct contact with the pool floor and walls on every pass. Its cellular foam material compresses slightly against the surface, generating the friction that propels the robot and keeps it tracking in straight lines. Without adequate grip at both brush positions, the cleaner stalls on inclines or orbits in place rather than covering the full pool.

Which Dolphin models it fits

This brush is confirmed for the Dolphin EasyKleen and Dolphin Superkleen (AstralPool distribution). The 6101610 reference also fits a broad range of single-drive-motor Dolphin models including the Active Classic, Active X3, Active X3.5, Zenit 10/12/15, Thunder 10/20/CB, Cosmos 20, 2X2, 2001/3001, Apogon BC/CC, Explorer, Master M3/M4, M200, Moby, Poseydon, SF40, Triton, Swift, Swash/Swash CL, Seamaster INT, E30/E35/E40i, S200/S300/S300i, Cainan 2/3/3i, Hammer Plus/Hammer i, Avalon 30/40i, Carrera 30/35/40i, Supreme M3/M4, Saturn, and Pulit E50/E55. Always confirm your specific model carries the single-motor, dual-brush configuration before ordering.

Signs it needs replacing

When the foam degrades — crumbling at the edges, compressing unevenly, or tearing away from the roller core — the robot loses traction and starts skipping across the pool surface or failing to climb walls. If you see the chassis spinning in place or leaving unswept lanes, inspect both brush positions: deteriorated foam is the most common culprit in single-motor Dolphin models. Replace front and rear brushes at the same time to keep traction balanced.

How to install it

Brush replacement on the EasyKleen requires no tools. Open the top access panel, release the brush retaining clips at each end of the roller, and slide the old foam brush off the shaft. Slide the new brush onto the roller until the end caps click into the retaining grooves, then close the panel. Repeat at the front and rear positions. The job takes under five minutes per brush.
