This is the genuine AstralPool replacement outlet assembly for the 60 sq. ft. Yellow Diatomaceous Earth (DE) filter (model FDE60). It sits at position 20 in the official Fluidra exploded view and is responsible for channelling filtered water out of the filter body and back to the pool, ensuring a leak-free, high-flow return path after filtration. Replacing a worn or damaged outlet assembly restores full filtration performance and prevents bypass or water loss.

This outlet assembly is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Yellow Diatomaceous Earth Filter range — covering the 24, 36, 48, and 60 sq. ft. models — with the 60 sq. ft. variant (FDE60) being the primary application. Always cross-reference the exploded view position (pos. 20) and your filter’s model label before ordering to confirm fitment.

Using a genuine AstralPool part guarantees dimensional accuracy and material compatibility with the filter’s pressure vessel and internal manifold system. Third-party alternatives may not seal correctly under working pressure, risking leaks or short service life. As an authorised AstralPool stockist, poolparthub.com supplies only authentic Fluidra-manufactured components.

The outlet assembly connects to the filter body at a defined port and should be installed with appropriate thread sealant or O-rings as specified in the FDE60 service manual. Depressurise and drain the filter before beginning work. While a confident DIYer can complete this replacement, professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with DE filter servicing.
