Built for 22 mm press pipework, this full-bore 90° elbow from Bonfix is machined from grade 316L stainless steel — the low-carbon, chloride-resistant alloy preferred wherever pool plant rooms, heat exchangers, and heating circuits demand long-term corrosion protection. Its KIWA/DVGW dual approval confirms suitability for drinking-water and heating installations across the Netherlands, Germany, and beyond.

The fitting uses a standard press connection, eliminating the need for soldering or hot-work on site. Once pressed with a compatible M-profile press tool, the built-in EPDM O-ring creates a secure, leak-free seal rated for the demands of pressurised pool and heating pipework — a significant time-saving advantage for professional installers working in confined plant-room spaces.

Grade 316L stainless steel offers superior resistance to chlorides and aggressive water chemistry compared to standard 304 grade, making it well suited to pool heating and heat-exchanger circuits where treated or salt-laden water may be present. The low-carbon composition also reduces the risk of inter-granular corrosion at joints over the fitting’s service life.

KIWA/DVGW certification means this fitting has been independently tested and approved for use in potable water and heating systems, satisfying the compliance requirements typically demanded by European installers, building inspectors, and insurance assessors. It fits within the broader Bonfix Press-Inox range, making it straightforward to source matching tees, couplings, and reducers in the same series.
