Rated to 30 bar and 120 °C, this compact 41 mm brass hose tail adaptor from Profec bridges a 1/2″ male BSP thread to a 16 mm hose barb in a single, robust piece. The all-brass body resists corrosion in both pool plant rooms and broader hydraulic installations, making it a dependable choice wherever a secure thread-to-hose transition is required. A 21 mm spanner flat ensures easy torquing to a reliable seal without specialist tooling.

At 30 bar maximum working pressure and a 120 °C temperature ceiling, this adaptor comfortably handles the operating conditions found in pool circulation systems, heat pump connections, and chemical dosing lines. The generous safety margin above typical pool-plant pressures means the fitting is not a weak point in the hydraulic circuit, even under transient pressure spikes.

The 1/2″ male thread screws directly into standard BSP-ported pump bodies, filter heads, valves, and manifold blocks. The 16 mm barbed hose tail grips the inner bore of compatible reinforced hose, providing a bite that resists pull-off under pressure — particularly useful when a hose clamp is applied over the tail for a belt-and-braces installation.

Machined from solid brass, the adaptor offers the combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance expected in professional pool plumbing. The compact 41 mm overall length keeps the fitting unobtrusive in confined plant rooms, and the single-piece construction eliminates potential leak paths that multi-component assemblies can introduce.
