This genuine Bosta water flow switch is a purpose-built replacement safety component for the ECO Hydro-Pro range of swimming pool heat pumps. It monitors water circulation through the heat pump and ensures the unit only operates when sufficient flow is present, protecting the system from dry-running and potential damage.

The flow switch is installed in the water circuit of the heat pump. When the pool filtration pump is running and water is circulating correctly, the switch closes and allows the heat pump to start. If water flow drops below the required threshold — for example when the filter pump is switched off — the flow switch opens and the heat pump shuts down automatically, preventing overheating or compressor damage.

This flow switch is designed specifically for Bosta ECO Hydro-Pro pool heat pump models. It is a factory-listed spare part and installs using a 32 mm glue (solvent-weld) adapter, matching the plumbing connections standard across the Hydro-Pro heat pump range. Always verify your exact heat pump model number before ordering.

Using a genuine Bosta replacement flow switch ensures precise calibration for the ECO Hydro-Pro’s flow thresholds and maintains full compatibility with the unit’s electronic control board. Aftermarket substitutes may trip at incorrect flow rates, leading to nuisance shutdowns or, worse, inadequate protection of the compressor and titanium heat exchanger.
