This is the genuine Davey replacement female safety connector (part M2896) for the ProMatic salt water pool system range. It forms part of the electrical safety interlock circuit between the controller and the electrolysis cell, ensuring the system operates correctly and safely. When this connector becomes damaged, corroded, or fails to make a secure contact, it must be replaced to restore proper function.

This female safety connector is designed specifically for the Davey ProMatic ESR, ESC (including ESC 16, ESC 24, ESC 36, and ESC 48), and MPS series salt water chlorinators distributed by Davey Europe. Always verify your unit’s model number before ordering to confirm fitment.

As a genuine Davey spare part, M2896 is manufactured to the exact electrical and mechanical tolerances required by the ProMatic system. Using a non-OEM connector risks poor contact integrity, potential safety interlock faults, or damage to the controller — keeping the original specification is essential in a pool electrical environment.

Replacement of this connector should be carried out with the power supply fully isolated. Given its role in the safety circuit, it is strongly recommended that a qualified pool technician or electrician perform the swap to ensure correct re-connection and compliance with local electrical safety regulations.
