These are the genuine Pentair housing screws that clamp the pump body assembly together on the UltraFlow series. Supplied as a pack of four, they are the correct thread, length, and material specification to replace worn, stripped, or corroded originals without modification.

The four housing screws draw and hold the motor support bracket and volute housing into a sealed, aligned unit. Correct clamping torque across all four fasteners is what keeps the wet end and dry end concentric — a stripped or missing screw immediately allows flex and vibration that accelerates seal wear and can cause shaft misalignment. Replace all four as a set whenever you open the pump for seal or impeller work.

These screws are specified for the Pentair UltraFlow pump family. If you are unsure whether your specific UltraFlow variant uses the 1/4″-20 × 1¾” housing screw, cross-reference your pump’s parts diagram before ordering — thread pitch and shank length vary between sub-models and other Pentair pump families.

Visible corrosion or rust bleed around the screw heads is the clearest indicator. A screw that no longer holds torque — turning freely before the housing is fully seated — has stripped threads and must be replaced before the pump is run again. Any screw that shears during routine disassembly should be replaced across the full set of four, not individually.

Seat each screw by hand first to confirm thread engagement, then tighten in a cross pattern to draw the housing down evenly. Avoid impact drivers — the ABS and thermoplastic housings on this pump family are not tolerant of over-torque. A screwdriver or hand-held nut driver to firm resistance is sufficient.
