By continuously monitoring the redox value of your pool water, the system can automatically regulate chlorine production in real time \u2014 ensuring the water is always effectively disinfected without the risk of over-chlorination.<\/p>\n Redox (ORP) is the most direct indicator of the actual disinfecting power of water \u2014 far more meaningful than a simple chlorine percentage or timer setting. A pool with a redox value between 650 and 750 mV is reliably safe and comfortable. The E-OPTION-REDOX kit enables the chlorinator to target and maintain that range automatically, adjusting output up or down as bather load, temperature, sunlight, and other factors change throughout the day.<\/p>\n Free chlorine concentration alone does not tell you how effective your pool’s disinfection is \u2014 pH, temperature, and stabiliser levels all affect the actual sanitising power.
