This Storz type 52C quick coupler is precision-forged from aluminium and fitted with a 38 mm ribbed hose tail, providing a fast, tool-free bayonet connection for firefighting, irrigation, and water transfer applications. The Storz coupling system is a globally recognised standard for symmetrical, non-handed connections — either end mates with any other Storz 52C fitting, eliminating orientation errors on site. The forged aluminium construction delivers excellent strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance in outdoor and agricultural environments.
The ribbed hose tail accepts 38 mm (1½ inch) bore hose secured with a hose clamp, creating a leak-free joint rated to 15 bar working pressure. The large-diameter Storz collar (nominal coupling size 52C, outer diameter 66 mm) locks with a quarter-turn twist and releases just as quickly, making it ideal for rapid deployment and breakdown of temporary pipework on irrigation fields, nurseries, greenhouses, and pumping stations.
