The Profec Safe 550 is a full-bore, single-union ball valve manufactured from high-grade PVC-U, designed for reliable on/off flow control in pool circulation systems, irrigation networks, and industrial fluid handling. The DN50 (2-inch) female-threaded connections on both ends allow direct installation into existing threaded pipework without adaptors. The single union on the outlet side enables the valve body to be removed from the line for inspection or replacement without disturbing the surrounding pipework, reducing maintenance downtime significantly.
Rated to 10 bar working pressure at 20 °C and a maximum operating temperature of 60 °C, this valve handles the demands of pressurised pool plant rooms and greenhouse irrigation headers.
