How to install it

Isolate power to the pump and close the isolation valves before opening the pump housing. Remove the volute to access the impeller: unscrew it counter-clockwise from the motor shaft (left-hand thread on most Freeflo models — hold the motor shaft still with a flat-blade screwdriver through the rear vent). Seat the new diffuser into the volute, thread the new impeller onto the shaft until snug, reassemble the volute with a new O-ring if required, and restore flow before powering on. Total job time is approximately 20–30 minutes.
