This genuine Norsup flow switch is a dedicated safety component for the Norsup UV Supernova UV-C pool disinfection unit. It continuously monitors water flow through the pipework and automatically cuts the signal to the UV-C unit whenever flow drops below the safe threshold — protecting the lamp and housing from dry-run damage. The switch ships with a pre-fitted 2 × 0.75 mm² connecting cable for direct integration into the Supernova’s control circuit.

Hoe het werkt

The flow switch uses an internal reed switch to detect whether sufficient water is moving through the pipe. When flow reaches the minimum activation level, the switch closes and allows the UV-C unit to operate. If flow falls too low, the switch opens and immediately powers down the connected device, preventing overheating and potential melting of internal plastic components.
