Free Chlorine Control Kit

The Free Chlorine Control Kit enables continuous measurement and automated control of free chlorine levels in pool water, expressed in ppm (mg/l). Unlike redox sensors — which measure the overall oxidation potential — an amperometric free chlorine sensor measures the actual free chlorine concentration directly, providing more accurate and reliable readings for automated dosing systems.

Maintaining free chlorine within the recommended range (typically 0.5–1.5 ppm for salt-chlorinated pools) is essential for effective disinfection while avoiding irritation and excessive chemical consumption.

Wat zit er bij inbegrepen?

  • Amperometric free chlorine sensor
  • Flow cell housing for inline installation
  • Connection cable for Hayward controller
  • Calibration solutions and accessories
  • Full installation and calibration instructions

Installatie en onderhoud

Install the flow cell in the return line where water flow is consistent. Calibrate the sensor using the supplied calibration solution after installation and repeat every 4–8 weeks. The sensor membrane and electrolyte require periodic replacement — typically every 6–12 months.
