Fluidra – Sand Filter Drain Port O-Ring Ø70 × 5 mm

This is a genuine Fluidra (AstralPool) replacement O-ring with a 70 mm inner diameter and a 5 mm cross-section, designed to create a watertight seal at the drain/bleed fitting located at the base of compatible AstralPool sand filters. It is the correct part to fit when the existing O-ring has aged, deformed, or cracked and is causing water to leak around the drain port.

Compatibility

This O-ring fits a range of AstralPool lateral-outlet sand filters, including the Ø 1050 mm / 43,000 l/h series (refs 15789 and 32391), the Ø 900 mm Atlas and Aster models, and the Vesubio filter range. Always cross-reference your filter’s model number and exploded-view diagram before ordering to confirm fitment for your specific unit.

Installation

Shut off the filtration system and relieve any pressure before starting. Remove the drain fitting, extract the worn O-ring, clean the seat thoroughly, and lightly lubricate the new O-ring with a silicone-based grease before seating it. Reassemble the fitting, restore pressure, and check for leaks before returning the system to normal operation.
