This genuine Fluidra rigid PVC tube, 525 mm in length, is the original internal air-purge tube fitted inside AstralPool top-mount sand filter tanks. It channels and vents air from within the filter vessel, ensuring consistent water flow and correct filter pressure at all times.

When the internal air-purge tube cracks, warps, or becomes blocked, air can accumulate inside the tank, leading to erratic pressure readings, reduced filtration performance, and inefficient backwashing.
