This is the genuine Fluidra replacement collector assembly for the Aster sand filter with a Ø750 mm tank and top-mount multiport valve. Positioned at the base of the filter tank, the collector assembly draws filtered water through its slotted 1″ laterals and returns it to the pool, while also ensuring thorough fluidisation of the sand bed during backwash cycles.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Fluidra Aster Ø750 mm sand filter rated at 21,000 l/h with 2″ outlets and a top-mount multiport valve. The 1″ lateral ports are matched to the collector hub dimensioned for this tank diameter. Always verify your filter model and tank diameter before ordering, as collector assemblies are not interchangeable between different tank sizes.

How it works

The assembly consists of a central hub with multiple 1″ slotted lateral arms radiating outward across the full floor of the filter tank. During filtration, water passes down through the sand bed and is collected evenly across the laterals before exiting via the multiport valve. The slotted bottom of the hub also allows water to circulate beneath the collector, promoting complete and even backwashing of the entire sand bed.
