This is the complete genuine Fluidra drain water set for the Artic OC-1 laminated fibreglass sand filter range in diameters 500, 650, 800 and 950 mm. The kit supplies all the components needed to fully drain the filter tank — including the drain plug, body and seal — making seasonal winterisation, filter media changes and maintenance straightforward. It is the correct revision for all Artic OC-1 units produced from March 2013 onwards.

Compatibility

This drain set is designed exclusively for the Fluidra Artic OC-1 high-performance laminated polyester and fibreglass filter range in the four standard tank diameters: Ø500 mm, Ø650 mm, Ø800 mm and Ø950 mm. Always confirm your filter’s production date is March 2013 or later before ordering, as earlier units use a different drain assembly.

Installation

The drain set is located at the base of the filter tank. Isolate the pump, relieve system pressure and close isolation valves before removing the old drain assembly. Thread the new set in by hand first, then tighten to the torque specified in your Artic OC-1 installation manual. Do not over-tighten, as the filter body is laminated polyester. Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with pressurised filtration systems.
