Hoe zoutelektrolyse werkt

Een elektrolysecel produceert chloor op verzoek in het filtercircuit van uw zwembad. Een gelijkstroom met lage spanning vloeit door titanium elektrodeplaten die in het zoute water zijn ondergedompeld, waardoor natriumchloride wordt gesplitst in hypochloorzuur — het actieve desinfectiemiddel. Het zuur reinigt het water en verandert vervolgens weer in zout, waardoor het proces continu en zelfvoorzienend is en veel milder voor zwemmers dan traditionele chloordosering.
