AstralPool – Front Motor Cover for Alaska Basic Pump 0.33–0.50 HP

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement front motor cover for the Alaska Basic pool pump, designed specifically for the 0.33 HP and 0.50 HP power variants. It forms the front-facing protective enclosure of the motor assembly, shielding internal motor components from the environment and maintaining the structural integrity of the pump unit. Sourced directly from Fluidra, it matches the original part exactly — position 19 in the official exploded view diagram.

Compatibiliteit

This front motor cover is engineered exclusively for the AstralPool Alaska Basic Pump (parent SKU 69385) in the 0.33 HP and 0.50 HP configurations. It is not interchangeable with higher-power variants of the Alaska Basic (0.75 HP, 1.00 HP, 1.25 HP), which use a different motor cover. Always verify your pump’s power rating on the motor label before ordering.

Waarom authenticiteit belangrijk is

As an OEM Fluidra part, this cover is manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original, ensuring correct fitment, proper motor ventilation clearances, and no compromise to the pump’s IP protection rating. Aftermarket covers may differ in mounting hole alignment or material thickness, risking motor damage or voiding any remaining warranty on your pump.

Installatie

Replacing the front motor cover requires disconnecting the pump from the power supply and partially disassembling the motor end of the unit. Refer to the official AstralPool Alaska Basic exploded view (position 19) for fastener locations and reassembly sequence. Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is recommended to ensure safe and correct reassembly.
