This is the genuine Fluidra replacement lid set for the Artic D series laminated sand filters with tank diameters of 500, 650, 800 and 950 mm. The kit contains the complete lid assembly — injected-plastic lid, EPDM gasket, and AISI-316 stainless steel screws — everything needed to restore a secure, pressure-tight seal on top of the filter tank. It is the correct OEM solution when the existing lid or its sealing components show wear, cracking, or leakage.

Compatibility

This lid set is designed exclusively for Fluidra (AstralPool) Artic D laminated sand filters in tank diameters Ø500 mm, Ø650 mm, Ø800 mm and Ø950 mm (product references 34029, 34030, 34031 and variants). It is not suitable for the larger Artic D Ø1050 or Ø1200 mm models, which use a different Ø400 mm lid, nor for the Artic Plus or Artic OC-1 ranges. Always cross-reference your filter’s model number before ordering.

The Artic D filter operates at up to 2.5 bar working pressure, so a correctly dimensioned, manufacturer-approved lid set is essential for safe operation. Installation

Before fitting, fully depressurise and isolate the filter from the circulation system. Remove the old lid retaining screws, lift away the worn lid and gasket, and clean the mating flange surface. Seat the new EPDM gasket, position the lid, and tighten the AISI-316 screws evenly in a cross pattern to avoid uneven compression. Re-pressurise slowly and check for leaks before returning the system to service. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with pressurised filter systems.
