This is the genuine Fluidra AstralPool split lid nut for the Cantabric top-mount sand filter, Ø750 mm with a 2″ top-outlet valve. It is the large threaded retaining nut that clamps the filter lid onto the tank body, forming the primary pressure-bearing closure of the filter vessel. Replacing a worn or damaged nut restores a secure, leak-free seal and safe operation of your filtration system.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the AstralPool Cantabric Top Ø750 mm sand filter with a 2″ top-outlet valve (Fluidra product reference 23866, rated at 21,000 l/h). This part is not suitable for smaller Cantabric diameters or for side-outlet variants – always verify your filter’s diameter and valve position before ordering.

Installation

The split nut design allows it to be fitted or removed without dismantling the surrounding pipework, making filter lid maintenance more straightforward. Shut down the pump, relieve system pressure via the air-relief valve, and unscrew the old nut before fitting the replacement. If the lid O-ring shows any signs of wear, it is good practice to replace it at the same time.
