This is the genuine Fluidra replacement manifold assembly designed for the Lena series sand filter with a 750 mm tank diameter. The manifold — comprising a central hub and a set of slotted laterals — sits at the base of the filter tank, evenly collecting filtered water during normal operation and redistributing backwash water upward through the sand bed to flush out trapped debris.

How it works

During filtration, pool water passes down through the sand bed and is collected uniformly across the full width of the tank by the slotted laterals, which connect to the central hub and feed into the return line. When backwashing, the flow reverses: water is forced up through the laterals and out through the sand, lifting and flushing accumulated dirt to waste. A correctly functioning manifold is essential for even flow distribution, filter efficiency, and preventing sand from passing into the pool.
