This is the genuine Astralpool replacement filter body (tank/vessel) for the Stainless Steel Filter with Lock series, 600 mm diameter and 800 mm height variant. It forms the core pressure vessel of the filtration unit, housing the filter media and internal distribution components that keep pool water clean and clear. As position 17 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram, it is a structural part that must meet exact OEM dimensions and pressure tolerances.

This filter body is designed exclusively for the Astralpool Stainless Steel Filter with Lock, Height 800–1400 series (parent SKU 07491), specifically the Ø600 mm, H-800 configuration. Always cross-reference the exploded-view diagram (position 17) and your filter’s model label before ordering, as other diameter or height variants within the 07491 family use different body parts and are not interchangeable.

As a pressure-bearing component, the filter body must conform precisely to Astralpool’s pressure ratings and sealing surfaces. A genuine OEM part guarantees the correct wall thickness, port geometry, and surface finish to ensure a leak-free fit with the lock-ring lid assembly and all internal components. Third-party alternatives may not meet the same standards, risking seal failure or reduced filtration performance.

Replacement of the filter body is a significant service task that involves draining the filter, disconnecting pipework, and transferring all internal components (laterals, diffuser, and valve connections) to the new vessel. Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended to ensure correct reassembly, torque of the lock-ring closure, and a safe pressure test before returning the system to service.
