The Hanna Instruments Security Pool Plus pH is a wall-mounted pH control panel for commercial pool water treatment, supplied under part number BL100-10. The panel is designed for commercial and semi-public pool circuits where pH must be corrected automatically with acid or alkaline dosing. The controller is mounted on a wall or backing board close to the filtration circuit, downstream of the filter and ahead of the chemical injection point. The pH electrode sits in a flow cell or in-line holder fed by a continuous sample flow of pool water, and the dosing pump is wired to the panel output. The panel itself is a long-life instrument; the consumable element is the pH electrode, which is normally recalibrated at regular service intervals and replaced when response becomes slow or unstable. Use fresh pH 7 and pH 4 buffer solutions for calibration and inspect the flow cell for fouling at the same time.
