This is a genuine Maytronics replacement drive track (oruga) in grey, short (S) size, designed for the Dolphin Cainan 1 robotic pool cleaner. The track wraps around the drive wheels and propels the robot across the pool floor, up walls, and along the waterline, delivering consistent traction on all pool surface types.

The drive track transmits power from the motor unit to the pool surface, enabling the robot to navigate plaster, vinyl, fibreglass, and tiled pools. Without intact tracks the robot loses grip, slips on inclines, and fails to maintain full pool coverage. The short (S) variant is the correct size for Cainan 1-platform robots, which use one shorter track alongside other drivetrain components.

This short grey track is confirmed compatible with the Dolphin Cainan 1 and shares fitment across a wide range of Maytronics basket-top robots on the same platform, including the Dolphin E10, Cayman, Nautilus CC, Echo, Encore, Escape, Quantum, Active 10/15/20/30, T15/T25/T35/T45/T55i, Triton PS, Triton PS Plus, Proteus DX3/DX4/DX5i, Explorer E20/E30/E50, M600, PoolBot PB10/PB20/PB25, Energy C, EX10, Formula 20, Classic Light, Seamaster CL, Run 10, MR 20, Zfun, Blue Maxi 10, Izzy Climb, Avalon 20, and Evolution 10, among others. Always verify your robot’s serial number before ordering if unsure.

Replace the track when you notice the robot spinning in place, failing to climb walls, veering to one side, or when the rubber shows visible cracking, stretching, or has slipped off the drive wheels entirely. Worn tracks also cause snapping or slapping noises during operation. Addressing track wear promptly prevents secondary stress on the drive motor and gearbox.

Genuine Maytronics tracks are manufactured to OEM tolerances, ensuring correct tension, pitch, and rubber compound for pool-chemical resistance and UV durability. Aftermarket alternatives frequently stretch prematurely or lose grip on inclines, leading to incomplete cleaning cycles and potential motor overload. A genuine part maintains the robot’s warranty integrity and restores like-new performance.
