This is the genuine Maytronics 180 W on/off power supply unit (fuente de alimentación) for the Dolphin Pool Up CB robotic pool cleaner. It converts mains AC voltage to a regulated 29 V DC output, delivering the controlled power the robot’s drive motors and scrubbing brushes need to operate safely and efficiently. Without a correctly functioning power supply the cleaner will not start or will run erratically.

The unit accepts a wide-range mains input of 100–250 V AC at 50/60 Hz, making it compatible with European household supplies, and steps this down to a stable 29 V DC output at 180 W. It features a simple on/off switch on the front panel and a proprietary 4-pin female connector on the side for the Dolphin floating cable. An integrated aluminium heat sink inside the base grill manages thermal load during extended cleaning cycles.

This EU-specification assembly (part 9995670-ASSY) is listed by Maytronics as compatible with a wide range of Dolphin robots including the Pool Up, Pool In, Dolphin Swift, Dolphin Swell, Dolphin Swash CL, Dolphin M200, Dolphin DX3, Dolphin XT2, Dolphin XT3, Dolphin Wave 30, Dolphin Active Classic, Dolphin Smart Active, Dolphin Zenit 10/12/15, Dolphin EX45, Dolphin SF40/SF50, Dolphin PS40/PS50, Dolphin F40/F50 and several other models in the Maytronics European range. Always cross-reference your robot’s serial number with Maytronics to confirm exact compatibility before ordering.

If your Dolphin Pool Up CB powers on momentarily then cuts out, fails to start at all, produces a burning smell, shows a flickering or dead indicator LED, or the cable connector feels loose or corroded at the power supply end, the power supply unit itself is likely at fault. In some cases the robot appears to move slowly or inconsistently — this too can point to insufficient or unstable DC output from a failing unit.

Aftermarket power supplies may not maintain the precise 29 V DC regulation that Dolphin motor control boards require, risking premature PCB failure or voiding your robot’s warranty. A genuine Maytronics assembly is manufactured to the exact electrical tolerances of the original unit, uses the correct proprietary connector format, and carries Maytronics’ own quality assurance — protecting both your cleaner and your poolside safety.
