This is a genuine Davey spare part — a pack of two replacement O-rings for the barrel union connections on the Crystal Clear ER 135 and ER 180 cartridge filters. These O-rings create a watertight seal at the plumbing union fittings, preventing leaks between the filter and the pipework. They should be replaced whenever a leak is detected at a union joint, or as part of routine filter maintenance.

Designed specifically for the Davey Crystal Clear ER 135 (model DCC135EU) and Crystal Clear ER 180 (model DCC180EU) cartridge filter series. If you own a different Crystal Clear model (e.g. ER 225 or ER 270), please verify the part number before ordering.

Genuine Davey O-rings are engineered to the exact tolerances of the union fittings on ER Series filters, ensuring a reliable, pressure-rated seal. The barrel unions on these filters are hand-tightened with no sealants or adhesives, meaning the O-ring alone carries the full sealing duty — quality and fit are critical to leak-free operation up to the filter’s 250 kPa maximum operating pressure.

Before fitting, inspect the union seat for debris or scoring. Clean the O-ring groove and apply a silicone-based lubricant (such as Hydroslip) to the new O-ring — never use petroleum-based products such as Vaseline, as these cause rubber to swell and deteriorate. Hand-tighten the union only; no tools, glues, or thread sealants are needed or recommended.
